About Us

At North Simcoe Driving School, we are proud to be a Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO) approved driving school. This means that we have met and exceeded the high standards set by the MTO for driver education and training, ensuring that our students receive top-quality instructions and support throughout their learning journey.

In addition to our MTO-approved status, we also offer Beginner Driver Education (BDE) courses, which are designed to provide new drivers with the knowledge and skills needed to become safe and responsible drivers. Our BDE courses consist of 20 hours of e-learning instructions and 10 hours of In-Car training and are taught by experienced and knowledgeable instructors who are dedicated to helping our students succeed.

In our e-Learning portion of our BDE courses, students will learn about a wide range of topics, including road signs and rules, defensive driving techniques, and safe driving practices. We use a variety of teaching methods, including interactive discussions, and engaging multimedia presentations, to help our students retain and apply the information they learn.

The In-Car portion of our BDE courses is equally important, as it provides students with the opportunity to apply their knowledge and develop their driving skills in a real-world. Our In-Car training is conducted by experienced and patient instructors who provide one-on-one instruction and feedback, allowing students to progress at their own pace and build confidence behind the wheel.
