🛣️ Roads we practise on

Innisfil is a great place to learn real-world driving. We practise on Innisfil Beach Road with its traffic lights, plazas and turning lanes, along Yonge Street through Stroud, and on the rural sideroads where higher speeds, gravel shoulders and farm equipment teach you to read the road ahead. G-licence students also practise merging and lane changes on Highway 400.

🚗 Road test at Barrie DriveTest Centre

520 Bryne Drive, Unit 7, Barrie

Most of our Innisfil students take their G2 and G road tests at the Barrie DriveTest Centre, a short drive north from Alcona and Stroud. Before test day we practise in the roads around the test centre, and you can use the instructor’s car for your road test so you’re driving the car you already know.

📝 How the BDE course works
  1. Register and pay your deposit — we send you the Online Driver’s Education course within 30 minutes.
  2. Finish the online course at your own pace before your in-car lessons begin.
  3. Take your one-on-one in-car lessons with free pick-up and drop-off in Innisfil.
  4. We process your MTO certificate — you can be G2-eligible after 8 months instead of 12.

❓ Where do Innisfil students take their road test?

Most of our Innisfil students take their road test at the Barrie DriveTest Centre at 520 Bryne Drive, Unit 7. Tests are booked through DriveTest (drivetest.ca), and we can help with booking on request.

❓ Do you pick up in Alcona, Stroud, Lefroy and Cookstown?

Yes. Pick-up and drop-off are free across Innisfil, including Alcona, Stroud, Lefroy, Belle Ewart, Gilford, Sandy Cove, Cookstown and Churchill.

❓ Why is the Innisfil price different from Barrie?

Innisfil pricing includes the extra travel time to reach you, so pick-up and drop-off stay free. All prices shown include HST and the MTO certificate fee — the price you see is the price you pay.

❓ How much sooner can I get my G2 with the BDE course?

With an MTO-approved BDE certificate, you can take your G2 road test after 8 months with your G1 instead of 12 months. BDE may also help you qualify for an insurance discount — check with your insurance company.

❓ Can I practise highway driving from Innisfil?

Yes. For G-licence lessons we practise merging, lane changes and exits on Highway 400, which is close to most of Innisfil.
