We practise where Orillia drivers actually drive: West Street, Memorial Avenue, Laclie Street, Coldwater Road and Atherley Road, plus downtown streets with on-street parking and pedestrians. G-licence students practise higher-speed driving, merging and exits on Highway 11 and Highway 12.

Orillia students take their G2 and G road tests at the Orillia DriveTest Centre on Laclie Street. Before test day we practise in the roads around the test centre, so the area feels familiar, and you can use the instructor’s car for your road test.

📝 How the BDE course works
  1. Register and pay your deposit — we send you the Online Driver’s Education course within 30 minutes.
  2. Finish the online course at your own pace before your in-car lessons begin.
  3. Take your one-on-one in-car lessons with free pick-up and drop-off in Orillia.
  4. We process your MTO certificate — you can be G2-eligible after 8 months instead of 12.

❓ Where is the road test in Orillia?

The Orillia DriveTest Centre is at 404 Laclie Street, Unit 3. Tests are booked through DriveTest (drivetest.ca), and we can help with booking on request.

❓ Do I have to go to Barrie for lessons or my road test?

No. We pick you up in Orillia, your lessons take place on Orillia roads, and you can take your road test at the Orillia DriveTest Centre.

❓ Why is the Orillia price different from Barrie?

Orillia pricing includes the extra travel time to reach you, so pick-up and drop-off stay free. All prices include HST and the MTO certificate fee.

❓ Do you pick up near Georgian College in Orillia?

Yes. Pick-up and drop-off are free anywhere in Orillia, including at school, college and work.

❓ How much sooner can I get my G2 with the BDE course?

With an MTO-approved BDE certificate, you can take your G2 road test after 8 months with your G1 instead of 12 months, and you may qualify for an insurance discount.
